Color Product Fee
Starting July 1st 2023, we’ll be including a Color Product Fee to select color services
What is a Color Product Fee?
The Color Product Fee will be a charge showing at the end of your service and it will cover the average product usage for your color service
Standard color services (Highlights, Balayage, All Over Color) will have a $15 fee
Color Sessions (Corrections, Creative, Blonding) will have a $30 fee
Why charge a Color Product Fee?
In the past, our salon included the cost of the average product usage in the final price of your color service, but never broadcasted the amount
We’d like to now share with you the product amount that goes into your color services, being transparent about the price of your service.
At check out, you’ll see the final price of “Service + Color Product Fee.” To be clear, this isn’t an additional amount - this is an amount already included in the price, we’re just now showing it to you.
Difference in Color Product Fees
Let’s breakdown the difference in our fees
Standard Color Fee $15
Average usage for highlights, root touch ups, balayages, all over color is $16.41 in products - we charge $15 for these services
The fee includes average usage. If your hair or the style requested needs more product, there will be an additional Extra Product charge of $15
What we’ve calculated and measured - usage of gloves, foils, lightner and developer, permanent color and developer, toner and activator, shampoo, conditioner from each color service
Color Session Fee $30
Average usage for color corrections, blonding and creative color sessions is $35.88 - we charge $30 for these services
Any extra product used, more than the average amount, will be an additional $15
Product usage includes - gloves, foils, lighter and developer, permanent color and developer, toner and activator, full K18 product line, shampoo, conditioner
Color Corrections also include take home shampoo and conditioner, to continue the care of your hair

We’ll have a note in each color service description, whether the Color Product Fee is $15 or $30
