Specializing in holistic haircare, natural beauty, color and texture
Sara has over 18 years in the salon industry. She was classically trained at Ricci’s academy in Connecticut, specializing in Vidal Sassoon and Toni + Guy cut and color techniques. She eventually went on to work and train with different AVEDA salons before landing in Flagstaff, where she worked for over 10 years at Tirzah, and Wildflower Salon.
She was ready for a new chapter and change, recently moving to Durango and joining the OAK BRUSH team!
In the salon, Sara tries to cultivate a more holistic and natural approach to her styling, by enhancing one’s own natural beauty, color, and texture.
Sara enjoys all modalities and styles of cutting and coloring and offers a professional yet friendly environment and service for her guests. She hopes each of her guests leave not only looking better, but feeling better from the inside out.
When Sara is not styling, you can find her outdoors trail running, biking, and skiing, traveling and gardening.
